Almond Butter with whole wheat toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • Himalayan pink salt, to taste

  • 1 pc thick Whole wheat sourdough, toasted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spread almonds across a large pan, toast almonds on low heat for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant, stir frequently to avoid burning. Then set aside to let cool down.

  2. Transfer almonds to a food processor or high-speed blender. Add a bit of pink salt and blend until creamy. Be patient, as this will take a little time. If it feels like it will not become ‘butter’, keep blending and it eventually will become creamy and smooth.  

  3. Spread the almond butter on toast, drizzle with honey.

  4. Enjoy!
